If you have some drawings of insects, why not cut them out and use them as playing pieces or counters for your board game?
First of all we cut out our paper insects.
Then we thought about what the insects would do.
Would they fly?
Or crawl?
For the flying insects (hoverfly and mayfly) we used paperclips to help them stand up.
For the dung beetle, we used some clay to make a ball, a bit like a dung ball! And then slotted the beetle’s feet into the top to make it stand up.
We’re really looking forward to using these counters in our board games!
